In a recent interview at Comic-Con International in San Diego, Whedon was asked about his role in the upcoming films and what his take on Thor is. After making a joke about not showing Thor for the last decade or so, he then proceeded to reveal a rather revealing hint. "Thor in the first one is a lot more of…it's very similar to Batman, I guess you could call it, but it's not quite his," Whedon said. "In the first one I'm basically the same guy. I don't go through the big transformations. I go through this thing where I'm a father figure and I'm a hero and I'm just a guy in a suit. I'm not a super-person, so it was a great experience getting to play Thor in the first one, especially after the last movies. But I have my differences
